Music is a very important element in the worship of our Lord. It is a special privilege for worship leaders to help guide God’s people in praise through song. The goal of Music Ministry at CCSH is to use (and perfect) our gifts and talents to cooperatively usher people into an awareness of God’s presence, without being a distraction. Our ministry believes that the true Worship Leader of any church fellowship is the Senior Pastor. With recognition for and in support of that principle, Jane Kaddis is the Music Ministry Director with functional oversight of all worship and music-related activities at CCSH under the authority of Senior Pastor James Kaddis.

Currently, those in the Music Ministry lead worship for main sanctuary services, youth service, and church events as designated. Each member of our worship team is accountable for practice time, standards of leadership and striving toward continual growth in his or her walk with the Lord. We expect the same of anyone whom the Lord raises up to join the ministry. In addition to having a committed relationship with Jesus Christ, ministry applicants must regularly attend Calvary Chapel Signal Hill consistently and have done so for a minimum of six months. Those with musical abilities and a desire to serve or an interest in supporting the ministry with administrative tasks (e.g., PowerPoint preparation, etc.) may request more information.
